Avatar and The Hang-ups of Consciousness

Overall I think Avatar is a good representation of how people relate to themselves and the world around them as of NOW. I find it particularly interesting that a Marine was chosen to represent the collective conundrum of destroying nature in the name of power. I also find it disconcerting that the whole movie was based upon an apparent hyper dominant male with perpetual preoccupation for death and destruction.

This movie seems to represent a pseudo archetype of the true masculine principal. Avatar may hint to the wars that are continually waged on humanity by selfish interests, that see human beings as mechanism, absent of creative qualities. The meaning behind this concept stems from a need to be in control of nature as another step into the dark abyss of mental serfdom.

On the other end of the spectrum, we have a tribe or collective of beings that are caught up in a Utopian spirit world that has no apprehension of the material world. This is an age- old story told by many cultures dating back astronomically. James Cameron was just fortunate enough to capitalize on this reality.

To me an Avatar is someone who already embodies altruistic ideals and pushes through fear of finality; without losing their identity in the relative realm; without compromise of ideals because of difficult circumstances.

In my opinion, technological or virtual reality runs parallel with duality, although hybridized as one collective. Silence is the key to thwart off the suffering of being in the physical body. The essence of divinity in Avatar could be a grasping of Super-consciousness toward a fulfilled expression of kindness and love in the NOW.

Maybe we might want to ask ourselves a very simple and complicated question. Why are all movies filled with violence, desolation, entropy, and always centered on the mezzanine of consciousness? Are we all too hardened to realize that we are the creators of our own destiny and do not have to succumb to a perceived fate based on limited senses?

Could it be that we don't allow ourselves the time to take a breath without worrying about what is next? Could it be that the most intelligent among us are those that have failed so miserably in the establishment? Could it be that we need to be sharing open an honestly what is bothering us without putting on intellectual fronts to appear politically correct?

Are we interested in operating in hierarchy (Illuminati) of control or do we perceive levels of cognizance ready to be demonstrated as an opening toward many paths existence? Can we show reverence to those who have come before us while preparing for future awareness?
